New York Medical College, one of the nation’s largest private health sciences universities, is located in Valhalla, New York, just 30 minutes north of New York City. We have an extensive network of affiliated hospitals including urban medical centers, suburban hospitals, and technologically advanced, regional tertiary care facilities. These facilities afford a wide range of experiences and learning opportunities.
New York Medical College offers a variety of clinical and research electives to visiting students in their final year of undergraduate training. The application procedures for these rotations vary by hospital, as some applications are reviewed centrally through the medical school (utilizing VSAS), while others are handled entirely by the individual clinical affiliates. Please see below for additional instructions.
