Dr. Yancopoulos Discusses Building a Better Biotech
George D. Yancopoulos, M.D., Ph.D., center, president and chief scientific officer of Regeneron, gave an afternoon presentation on July 11 to standing-room-only audience. He presented "Building A Better Biotech: The Story Of Regeneron," sharing the history and successes of Regeneron, the only biopharmaceutical company led by physician-scientists for nearly 30 years that "bet it all on the power of genetics," first mouse genetics, then human genetics.
