The School of Health Sciences and Practice is dedicated to advancing the values and attitudes that reflect a community commitment through advocacy and leadership, service, and scholarship among its faculty and students. In all its endeavors, the School of Health Sciences and Practice is committed to enhancing the well being of the unserved and underserved within its region, and to promoting awareness of cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic influences on health and disease. Faculty members of the School collaborate with county health departments and other community organizations in the Hudson Valley region, as well as with basic science and clinical departments at New York Medical College.
