New York Medical College (NYMC) awards degrees three times a year with one formal graduation per school, also referred to as the Commencement Ceremony. Diplomas are given out on stage at the ceremony and the official conferral date for degrees and certificates will be May 25, 2024. Therefore, it is important to indicate whether you plan to attend the ceremony when you apply. The ceremonies for each school will take place in May. Fees: (GSBMS and SHSP $175) (M.D. $0)* (TCDM $150). NYMC dual-degree students must pay the fee for both programs. There is no fee for "reapplying". *M.D. graduation fee is included in your general fee.
The graduation fee covers graduation-related services that you receive even if you do not attend the ceremony or complete requirements. If requirements are not met, the fee will not be charged again when you reapply. This non-refundable fee will be applied at the time we process your application and must be paid by the application deadline stated above. Please go into the TouroOne portal to make payment. Failure to pay the fee will create a hold on your student account, preventing registration and the release of your diploma.
In a few days, access your account to make the payment. To view your student account and make payments please login to the TouroOne portal. Click on “Financial Services” and then “TouchNet”.
For students pending Financial Aid please review your account balance in TouchNet. If you determine your Financial Aid will cover your balance including this fee you should not make any further payments.
*Students graduating in the summer may be approved to walk in the May 2023 ceremony. Please contact your dean or advisors for more information. Please review the GSBMS Walking at Commencement Policy and the SHSP Participation in Commencement Policy walk policies. Students who do not have permission to walk may attend the next available ceremony.
