If you are a fourth-year medical student applying to the Neurosurgery Residency, we also offer a one-month sub-internship during the months of July-October for both NYMC students and visiting students. If you would like to rotate as a visiting student, you must apply through VSAS.

The Departments of Neurosurgery and Neurology are offering a six-week Neuroscience Summer Research Program for rising 2nd year New York Medical College Students for 2024. The program is led by two faculty members: Jared Pisapia, MD, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Fawaz Al-Mufti, MD, Associate Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Radiology. The primary focus of the program is on research.
