Donna Egan, M.S., CSP, CHMM, CSHM, has 33 years of experience leading environmental, health, and safety initiatives in both the private and public sectors, including manufacturing and construction. Her responsibilities at NYMC include the overall strategic planning and management of a comprehensive energy, health, safety, and environmental program for the College.
In her previous role, Ms. Egan was director of EHS for a pharmaceutical company, where she was responsible for the safety of employees with a specific focus on high-hazard chemical and equipment risk management. She worked closely with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to ensure her company complied with environmental regulations.
Under her supervision, the EHS team of professionals is responsible for radiation safety, biosafety, and life safety, as well as energy conservation and environmental protection initiatives.
