Office of Public Safety

NYMC's Office of Public Safety is a dedicated team of New York State certified guards, featuring a mix of retired law enforcement and seasoned public safety professionals. Their mission is to provide excellent customer service, while creating a secure and safe campus for all students, staff, and visitors.

NYMC is deeply committed to fostering a safe and secure academic community. Any form of criminal or illicit activity, including sexual assault and other sex offenses, on campus will not be tolerated. All alleged criminal conduct is promptly reported to the appropriate enforcement authorities. Following a thorough investigation by the College, any student, faculty member, or employee found to have violated our policies may be subject to discipline, including but not limited to suspension, expulsion, dismissal, or termination of employment.

The deans of the various schools within NYMC play a pivotal role in promoting safety. They are responsible for coordinating and disseminating information related to sexual assault prevention measures as part of the student orientation process. By implementing these protocols, the office strives to maintain an environment where everyone can pursue academic excellence free from fear and with security.
