Clinical Laboratory Scientists are at the heart of clinical care. A CLS performs diagnostic tests that monitor treatments and uncover new disease states, and as such are in continuous communication with physicians and the medical community, working to improve patient care and treatment outcomes.

The mission of our CLS Master's program is to provide an atmosphere of excellence, scholarship, and professionalism in order to impart the knowledge and technical skills necessary to become a proficient clinical laboratory scientist. Our goal is to prepare each student to qualify for the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) exam for national certification and/or individual state CLS licensure exam and successfully secure an entry-level position in a Medical Institution.
