Clerkship Health Requirements for School of Medicine Students

Your health requirements must be up-to-date in Health Services no later than 30 days before the rotation start date. Check your health record and compare it to the clerkship site requirements.

All clinical sites require:

  • Up-to-date (within one year) medical history and physical exam.
  • Up-to-date (within one year) TB screening (Tuberculin skin test or Quantiferon blood test) (history of positive test: CXR post-testing date required). For special requirements see table below. Tuberculin skin tests require lot number and expiration date of PPD.
  • With the exception of sites with special requirements listed in the table below, all other requirements were completed at matriculation and Transition to Clerkship.

Contact health services for test prescriptions, TB screening or if a new N95 fit test is required by the site.
