
Donna Mckenna, M.S.N., RN, ANP-C

Donna McKenna is an Adult Nurse Practitioner who works per diem at NYMC Health Services. Ms. McKenna has many years of experience working clinically and as a researcher within the NYMC Division of Infectious Diseases. She is a research assistant professor at NYMC with over 50 publications, focused primarily on tick-borne infections but also included are publications on health care associated infections, and most recently, SARS-CoV-2 symptoms in association with booster vaccination receipt. Among her many academic and teaching accomplishments Ms. McKenna developed educational programs for tick-borne illnesses, bio-preparedness, and infection prevention as well as coordinating research grants for the prevention of health care-associated infections.
