The School of Health Sciences and Practice (SHSP), in collaboration with Alpha Eta and Delta Omega Honor Societies, hosted its Fifth Annual Research and Scholarship Day on May 11 at the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center. Students presented a record-breaking number of posters of their research and scholarly activities according to Boyer’s five categories of scholarship: discovery, teaching, integration, application/practice and engagement. The event aims to encourage research, stimulate networking among students and faculty, and express appreciation to NYMC and community mentors.
