NYMC Hosts MSCHE Virtual Site Visit

NYMC is Completing the Next Step of the MSCHE Re-Accreditation Process

For the last two years, the New York Medical College (NYMC) community has been engaged in an extensive College-wide evidence-based process of self-assessment that includes the completion and submission of a comprehensive Self Study to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), the accreditation body for the College. NYMC is completing the next step of the MSCHE re-accreditation process with a virtual site visit of the MSCHE peer team evaluators on April 11-14. 

Members of the MSCHE team will meet with College leadership, faculty, staff and students, to discuss how the College meets or exceeds the seven MSCHE Standards for Accreditation and 15 requirements for accreditation. At the completion of the virtual visit on Wednesday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m., the NYMC community is invited to listen to the MSCHE Team Chair Bruce E. Jarrell M.D., FACS, president, University of Maryland, Baltimore, provide the MSCHE Team Chair Oral Report. Registration is required.
