NYMC Resumes Campus Shuttle Service
The NYMC Campus Shuttle Will Resume Operations on Tuesday, January 18
The NYMC Campus Shuttle operated by the Office of Public Safety will resume operations on Tuesday, January 18 with a new schedule and route. The Campus Shuttle will operate Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. or the beginning of Shabbos, whichever is earlier. The shuttle will stop at 19 Skyline Drive on the 9A side, Sunshine Cottage and Westchester Medical Center.
The revised schedule and route are the result of recommendations of the NYMC Safety Team and the School of Medicine Student Senate. “After evaluating usage of the shuttle, we have determined the new schedule and route are the most efficient,” said Robert Lancia, M.A., director of public safety. “Of course, we will continue to monitor the shuttle usage and make changes accordingly to ensure campus needs are met.”
The Sunshine Cottage stop is within easy walking distance to student housing, the Medical Education Center and the School of Health Sciences and Practice. Additional stops to Seven Dana Road and 19 Bradhurst Avenue are available upon request. For a drop-off at one of these locations please ask the driver or to be picked up at one of these locations call the Office of Public Safety at (914) 594-4226.
As a reminder, the Campus Shuttle is for New York Medical College and Touro College of Dental Medicine students, faculty and staff only; your College identification card is also your Shuttle pass; and masks and distancing are required.
