Lyme Disease Institute

Founded in 1989, the Lyme Disease Institute (operated by Boston Children’s Health Physicians) provides access to clinical care for tick-borne infections, such as Lyme disease and babesiosis. At the center, there are also opportunities to participate in clinical research studies on tick-borne infections.

Research Objectives

• Provide patients with care for tick bites and for tick-borne infections through BCHP.
• With researchers at NYMC, provide research opportunities to improve the knowledge base for tick-borne infections, an important regional concern.
