Stem Cell Laboratory

The Stem Cell Laboratory, located on the NYMC campus, was established from a New York State Stem Cell Science (NYSTEM) institutional development grant awarded to the Department of Physiology.  The primary emphasis of the laboratory is stem cell biology relevant to the cardiovascular system. The co-directors of the Stem Cell Laboratory are Drs. Carol A. Eisenberg and Leonard M. Eisenberg.  The Stem Cell Laboratory provide expertise and resources for NYMC scientists studying adult stem cell biology, including cell culture, immunohistochemistry, and confocal imaging.

NYMC user
User-based imaging: $30/hr
Assisted usage: $60/hr
Confocal training fee: $30/person + scope time

External user
User-based imaging: $60/hr
Assisted usage: $120/hr
Confocal training fee: $60/person + scope time
