The Power to Create Healthy Environments

Environmental factors strongly impact our health. And legal, socio-economic and political forces that modulate living environments strongly impact the health of our communities. This certificate focuses on these dynamics in environmental health, providing you with the tools to detect and alleviate environmental threats to human health.  Upon graduation, you will be positioned to provide information and analysis to partner with government, state and local entities as they work to improve health in our communities.

This certificate provides a flexible format that allows you to tailor your experience to your personal interests and needs. You may:

  • Take this fully online certificate either independently or as a component of a fellowship or an advanced medical training program. Upon completion, your coursework may serve as an entry to the M.P.H. program.
  • This certificate cannot be taken if the individual is earning their MPH in Environmental Health
