The Institute of Public Health houses the School of Health Sciences and Practice centers of excellence. These centers focus on high-priority topics of concern to communities and the nation at large. They draw upon the expertise in our academic departments and other resources outside as well as inside New York Medical College.
Center for Disaster Medicine
The Center for Disaster Medicine fulfills a unique role in the region as a multidisciplinary academic resource for a diverse range of emergency preparedness, including disasters, terrorism, and public health emergencies.
Children’s Environmental Health Center
A collaboration between Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and the New York Medical College School of Health Sciences and Practice, the Children’s Environmental Health Center treats, educates, and researches the effect of environmental pollutants and toxicants on young children.

Campus Collaborative Research (CCR) provides comprehensive research support services to help students and professionals with skills to independently produce high-quality clinical and population research.
