Parthener Pinder, M.D., M.P.H.

Parthener Pinder is originally from Miami, FL, graduated Summa Cum Laude from American International School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 2017. Dr. Pinder graduated from the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) program at New York Medical College in 2018. She is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Public Health Association. Dr. Pinder has held a position at the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute as a project assistant working in the Metropolitan Area Regional Office, Executive Office and became part of the Ending the Epidemic (ETE) Initiative in New York State, assisted in the development of HIV data charts, for the 2013-2015 year period, for Lower Manhattan and Queens ETE Regional Committees. In August 2017, Dr. Pinder traveled to Georgetown, Guyana, with the Guyana-Jamaica Friendship Association for a Symposium and Workshops on Early Childhood Education in collaboration with the Guyana Ministry of Education. She was one of five featured presenters and conducted two workshops: “The Benefits of Movement and Games for Early Learners” and “Supporting Active Play in the Early Years.” She was also recognized for her work and received an award from the Guyana Ministry of Education. She currently works in the Wellness Department at Open Door Family Medical Center serving as a Healthy Future Corps AmeriCorps Member in Ossining, NY.
