Jessie Moore, M.P.H.

Jessie Moore is the Director of Education for Planned Parenthood Mid-Hudson Valley. In this role she oversees a team of 15 throughout a four county region. Jessie is also the Youth Education team lead for merger integration of five Planned Parenthood affiliates and a part time adjunct lecturer in Public Health for SUNY Orange. Jessie Moore received her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services from SUNY New Paltz in 2006. In 2010, she received a Master’s in Public Health (M.P.H.) with a focus on Behavioral Sciences and Health Promotion from New York Medical College (NYMC). In addition to her M.P.H., Jessie graduated from NYMC with a Certificate in Health Education. She is also a Nationally Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and NYS Certified HIV tester. Currently, she is a first year Dr.P.H. student at NYMC with research interests in health disparities and social determinants of health with a focus on their impact on maternal/infant morbidity and mortality.
