Mohammed Alshanbari, B.D.S., M.P.H., M.S.

Mohammed Alshanbari is a public health faculty member at Umm AlQura University, Saudi Arabia since 2013. Mohammed Alshanbari graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Medicine and Surgery (B.D.S.) from Ibn Sina National College for Medical Studies, Saudi Arabia. Mohammed was granted a scholarship to pursue his education in the United States since 2016. In 2018 he received his Master of Public Health in Global Health from Loma Linda University, California, also he completed a one-year health policy fellowship at the Randel Lewis Health Policy Program, where he worked at the City of Riverside, California. Mohammed Alshanbari was engaged with the city government officials in advancing health policies in city by developing and evaluating different health policies initiatives such as the Healthy City program. He then went to the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, California for a residency program in Advanced Operative and Adhesive Dentistry and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomaterials and Digital Dentistry for 2 years and graduated in 2020. Mohammed Alshanbari is planning to go back to Saudi Arabia to teach public health and to contribute to the government of Saudi Arabia's plans to reform the health and education sectors.
