Ali Imran, M.D., M.P.H.
Ali Imran, M.D., M.P.H., is a fellow who completed his Residency in the department of internal medicine at Bridgeport Hospital. Dr. Imran's interest in public health is also providing the basis for his career plans in broadcast medical journalism where educating the public is the top priority. He has been covering how COVID-19 has particularly affected older adults and nursing homes Responsibilities include ongoing review of medical content for ABC News's various platforms before it is aired, and he also contributes on air for the World News Now overnight broadcast on a weekly basis. He plans for a career in clinical with his specific interests.
