Nicole Tenner, M.S.

Nicole Tenner specializes in disease prevention in her current role is a health educator at White Plains Hospital, she specializes in creating healthy lifestyle programs for her clientele. Nicole has multiple years of experience in wellness programming, public health initiatives and program implantation. Nicole received her undergraduate degree from Springfield College in Applied Exercise Science in 2015. Nicole went on to complete her Master of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from Springfield College in 2017. While completing her degree, Nicole studied the behaviors of individuals with type 2 diabetes and the correlation between their physical activity as a method of disease management, and their knowledge of healthy lifestyles. She also completed numerous internships with the State of Massachusetts and City of Springfield where she implemented multiple grant funded programs through the CDC. Currently, Nicole is a DrPH student at New York Medical College with research interests in socioeconomic determinants, and behavioral health.
