Azzam Althomali, M.P.H. is an international student from Saudi Arabia who joined the DrPH program in Health Policy and Management at NYMC. Mr. Althomali obtained a Higher Diploma in Education from Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia which boosted his career as a high school chemistry teacher in Taif, Saudi Arabia. He also received a fully- sponsored scholarship from the Saudi Ministry of Health to complete his graduate studies. One and a half years after receiving the scholarship Ahmed dedicated himself to study Academic English language. During his master’s program period he got a three-month field training opportunity to practice as a public health specialist at King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital in the summer of 2021.
