Satvir Kaur, B.S., CLSSGB, M.P.H.

Satvir Kaur received her Bachelor’s degree of Science in Biology from Binghamton University. She holds a certification in Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt. She has accumulated a breadth of experience within healthcare and public health, as it relates to patient safety, healthcare quality, and outcomes. Her areas of expertise include hospital quality and performance improvement, hospital accreditation surveys, hospital acquired infection surveillance and reporting, policy development and implementation, workflow optimization, and data analytics. Satvir is currently Quality Manager for the Department of Infection Prevention & Control at Westchester Medical Center Health Network. She manages the implementation of quality assurance programs for the hospital network’s Infection Prevention and Control Department to ensure regulatory compliance. Her research interest includes systemic response to public health emergencies such as emerging infectious diseases. She attained her Master’s degree of Public Health in Epidemiology from NYMC. Satvir joined the DrPH program in Health Policy and Management at NYMC in August 2022.
