Mary Kovoor, M.P.A., M.P.H.

Mary Kovoor is a performance improvement specialist in hospital quality. She obtained two master’s degrees: her MBA from Fordham University in Information Systems and a degree in Public Health with Behavioral Science and Health Promotion concentration from NYMC. She has a great informatics background. Mary’s practicum work included a poster presentation at the 2019 International Cancer Education Committee (ICEC) conference which addressed HPV vaccine hesitancy with respect to physician education. Mary joined the DrPH program in Health Policy and Management at NYMC in August 2022. She hopes to integrate technology into all aspects of her DrPH research and to share in shaping policy concerning workplace-impacting chronic conditions such as migraine disease and cancer in USA. She also aspires to teach courses to future public health leaders who share her vision of accessible quality healthcare for all people.
