Ahmed Quraani is an international student from Saudi Arabia who joined the DrPH program in Health Policy and Management at NYMC in August 2022. is from Saudi Arabia. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in General Dentistry from Saudi Arabia. He is working at the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF), Saudi Ministry of Defense as a general dental officer since September 2014. He served in many military hospitals and dental primary care centers in urban and rural areas of Saudi Arabia for four years. Throughout his service, he specialized at occupational, dental health care and social behaviors of Military personnel. For that he dedicated his research background for the oral health related quality of life among military personnel. He attained his master of International Dental Public Health at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. After finishing his studying of the DrPH program at NYMC, he is planning to bring the experience and knowledge he will gain from the program back to Saudi Arabia as he wants to share as a promising public health advisor who leads policy development and strategic initiatives to improve public health in Saudi Arabia.
