Jasmine Sancho received her bachelor’s in accounting with a minor in Public Health from Xavier University of Louisiana. She obtained her MPH with a concentration in health equity from Xavier University of Louisiana as well. She is a doula with a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.She previously worked for Louisiana Department of Public Health as a Quality Assurance Coordinator where she supported the regional schools, and daycares to enroll them with vaccine access through data collection systems. During her time as a graduate student, she worked for the CDC Foundation as an Administrative Support Specialist. She co-created a healthy equity workspace to provide resources, tools, and activities for the department to practice health equity with external and internal partners. In addition, maintaining a contact database with 351 cities and towns. She works as a project associate with Community Organization Relief Effect (CORE) in New Orleans. Traveling through the greater New Orleans area provides free COVID-19 vaccines, testing, and supplies to different communities. After finishing her DrPH program with NYMC, she plans on improving the statistics on maternal and child health of black women by providing resources, education, and centers for them
