Jesus Vasquez, M.S., M.P.H., is a regulatory analyst specializing in health economics and finance. Currently, he serves a major self-insured health fund in New York City, where he analyzes complex federal, state, and local healthcare legislation to safeguard the financial stability of a $4 billion employer-funded health plan. This plan serves 200,000 members across 11 states. Mr. Vasquez is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert on critical healthcare finance regulations, including the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA), Surprise Billing, Prior Authorizations, Shoppable Services, ERISA, and State Prescription Drug Affordability.
Previously, Mr. Vasquez co-facilitated advisory sessions with military branches, public health stakeholders, and policymakers to enhance veteran-serving programs across diverse American communities.
