How to Apply

Submit your application with the necessary application fee through SOPHAS, the centralized application service for public health programs.

Admission Requirements

A GRE is not required for admission. To complete your SOPHAS application you will need:

Bachelor’s Degree & Minimum GPA

You must have a baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited college or university with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.

Undergraduate Transcript(s)

Provide official transcripts of your undergraduate (post-secondary) coursework.

Two (2) Recommendations

Request two recommendations from individuals who can assess your academic abilities, work ethics, or professional potential. Faculty members, supervisors, or employers are ideal choices for this requirement.

Personal Statement

Share your unique story and aspirations through a thoughtfully crafted personal statement. This is your opportunity to convey your passion for public health and demonstrate how the M.P.H. program aligns with your career goals.

CV/Resume

Showcase your educational achievements, work experiences, volunteer engagements, and any other relevant activities.

Manhattan College: Bachelor of Arts (B.S.) in a Kinesiology program (Exercise Science or Physical Education) to Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from NYMC School of Health Sciences and Practice

Academic Articulation Agreement

Touro College of Pharmacy: Master of Public (M.P.H.) from the NYMC School of Health of Sciences and Practice and a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the Touro College of Pharmacy.
