Since joining New York Medical College in 2008, Padraic "Paddy" Reynolds, M.P.H. '14, has held several roles of increasing responsibility, including assistant dean, finance director, and financial analyst. In his current role as associate dean for academic administration, Mr. Reynolds is the principal business officer for the School of Medicine (SOM) with responsibility for the day-to-day SOM business administration and operations, including oversight of the development and management of the School’s operating budget on behalf of the dean and ensuring financial, human resources, IT, purchasing, and legal needs are met for all SOM departments. Under his leadership, the College completed a 20,000-square-foot laboratory and shared space renovation in the Basic Sciences Building in 2023. Mr. Reynolds currently serves on the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Group on Business Affairs Steering Committee and as chair of the Data and Benchmarking Committee.
