SOM Financial Aid

The Office of Student Financial Planning at New York Medical College is here to assist you with your financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making before, during and even after you have graduated from New York Medical College. Please review the policies, resources, and responsibilities information found on the central NYMC Financial Aid page before applying for financial aid, and contact us with any questions. We're happy to help!

Eligibility

You must be matriculated and registered for classes that fulfill a degree requirement, maintain satisfactory academic progress in a degree-granting program and be either a US citizen or eligible noncitizen to qualify for financial aid.

Application Priority Deadlines

Complete the following steps by the priority deadline to ensure you have enough time to receive your aid offer before the scheduled disbursement date.

Completing these steps after the priority deadline may delay your scheduled disbursement.

Incoming First Year Students
The financial aid priority deadline for incoming students is June 3. If you are accepted after June 3, you must complete and submit the required steps and forms to the Office of Student Financial Planning within 3 weeks of your acceptance date.

For Rising Second, Third, and Fourth Year Students
The financial aid priority deadline is May 1
