What I like best about Metropolitan Hospital: I appreciate the other residents and the opportunity to work in a public hospital in NYC with diverse, high-need patients.

Interests in Psychiatry: I like psychiatry because even if patients share the same diagnosis, their symptoms and stories can vary greatly; taking each patient’s history is always interesting.  I also like how psychiatrists have to think not just about each patient’s biology, but also their psychology and social context in order to formulate the best plan of care.
