Dr. Katherine Amodeo is a neurologist who specializes in the diagnosis and care of patients with neurodegenerative movement and cognitive disorders, including Parkinson’s disease and dementia with Lewy bodies. She completed fellowship training at the University of Rochester as a selected Edmond J. Safra Michael J Fox Foundation Fellow. She has served as principal investigator and co-investigator in several clinical trials in Parkinson’s disease and dementia with Lewy bodies. Dr. Amodeo evaluates and treats patients with neurological disorders, with a focus in movement and cognitive disorders. Her research interests include identifying modifiable risk factors for cognitive impairment and making hospitalization safer in those with Parkinson’s disease and related disorders.
