Hasit Mehta, M.D., joined the Medical Center as an attending physician and the faculty of New York Medical College in 2007. With a particular interest in advanced MRI techniques, Dr. Mehta developed a unique imaging paradigm to utilize rapid MRI imaging of the brain to reduce radiation exposure in the pediatric population with head trauma, in conjunction with the pediatric neurosurgery section at the hospital. He has been extensively published and presented on radiology topic across the United States and has been an active member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.
