After completing medical school in her native country of Iran, Mitra Rezvani, M.D., relocated to the U.S. for post-graduate training. Following her residency at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital, Dr. Rezvani stayed on as an attending physician until 2007, practicing hospital-based medicine and serving as an instructor at the Sophie-Davis Medical School. She then moved to Boston and practiced as a hospitalist for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. Dr. Rezvani returned to NY and worked as an attending physician at Isabella Geriatrics Center and as a hospitalist at Northern Westchester Hospital.

Dr. Rezvani joined Westchester Medical Center/NYMC in December 2019 as a hospitalist and concurrently serve as the internal medicine clerkship director. She has an interest in developing clinically relevant teaching techniques with an emphasis on promoting the art of clinical reasoning.
