Teaching Responsibilities

Education of students, residents, fellows, nurse, and colleagues has been an instrumental component to Dr. Steinberg's career. At WMC/NYMC, he has been involved in many aspects of education. Dr. Steinberg first served as the associate program director from 2021-2022 and since 2023 has been the Program director for the Hematology-Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Steinberg has worked with the fellows on maximizing their learning experience by having opportunity to supervise fellows, residents, and students in clinic and when he has been on service. Dr. Steinberg has contributed dozens of formal lectures to nurses, students, and fellows on topics in the field of hematologic malignancies since joining WMC/NYMC. What he has most enjoyed is mentoring students and trainees one-on-one through projects and papers.
