Kenneth Theobalds To Be Honored at NYMC’s Annual Golf Tournament

Trustee Theobalds Will Be Recognized for His Lifetime Achievements at This Year’s Golf Outing

At the helm of RiverRun Partners LLC, Theobalds offers government relations services and strategic counsel to businesses. His journey into the realm of influential leadership began as a congressional staffer, paving the way for roles including former senior advisor to New York Governor Mario M. Cuomo.

Theobalds’ expertise as an insurance and medical management professional has garnered industry-wide recognition. Notably, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the New York Claim Association and the Lifetime Leadership Award from the Westchester County Association. His commitment to fairness and equity in financial services earned him special acclaim from the National Association of Securities Professionals with their Wall Street Hall of Fame Award.

Beyond his professional achievements, Theobalds’ dedication to community service and corporate philanthropy has gained him wide recognition from the United States Congress, New York State Senate, Westchester County Legislature, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, African American Men of Westchester, American Red Cross, Mount Vernon Hospital, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, American Diabetes Association, ArtsWestchester, the College of Westchester, and many others.

Theobalds has also been a driving force in the energy sector, fostering strategic alliances and partnerships to advance clean energy initiatives and support utility holding company assets. As chair of the New York State Insurance Fund and a longstanding board member since 2008, Theobalds has demonstrated unparalleled commitment to the insurance sector's growth and stability.

His influence extends further as he serves on the Board of the Business Council of New York State and holds an independent director role with the IMA Group—a leading occupational health and clinical research firm.

Theobalds earned a bachelor's degree from Cornell University, is a graduate of the Entergy Executive Program of the Center for Creative Leadership's Advanced Leadership Program, and holds a certificate in corporate governance from Wharton Executive Education.
