NYMC Welcomes D.P.T. Class of 2027 at New Student Orientation

Incoming Students Get Acquainted During Their Three-Day Orientation

“It’s great to meet new faces, and to know that we have faculty here that care and are dedicated professionals,” said Adrian Mieles, D.P.T. Class of 2027. “I feel at home.”

Malvika Arora, D.P.T. Class of 2027, shares what she’s looking forward to as a new student at NYMC. “I’m looking forward to making friends with everyone in the class. I’m really excited for clinical and forming relationships with the professors.”

Janet Dolot, M.S., D.P.T., Dr.P.H. '14, PT, OCS, division chief and associate professor of physical therapy, provided words of encouragement to the new students on what to expect for the next couple of years as D.P.T. students. “We’re excited to welcome the incoming class of physical therapy students to the College as they take this next step into their professional careers,” said Dr. Dolot. “They’ve been working towards this moment for a long time.”
