Students are required to enroll in both the Transition to Year Four and Transition to Residency courses and complete 36 additional curricular weeks during the fourth year. 

  • Curricular Requirements include TWO required subspecialty track rotations PLUS seven additional, four-week electives (Total 36 weeks)
  • Attendance required for Transition to Year Four and Transition to Residency courses

During the clinical years, students are expected to follow the schedules of their clinical teams and not campus closures. Holiday observance schedules in Year 3 & Year 4 are determined by the hospital, team, and clerkship director, except for the Thanksgiving Break period (Thursday - Sunday, 11/28/24 – 12/1/24).
